Beschreibung

This Version is without any connectors. It’s meant for cases where you want to use alternative connector configurations (for example Macbook internal mount). Connectors are not included and must be bought seperately.

Why did you make it?

RaSCSI was originally developed for the Sharp X68000 in Japan. This is a slightly modified version for Apple Macintosh computers with SCSI. Most of the source code has been translated to English, along with creating some documentation targeted for the vintage Macintosh users.

What makes it special?

For now, it has very similar capabilities to the SCSI2SD. However, the open source collaboration team is working to add additional functionality, such as a SCSI Ethernet adapter.

I encourage you to download the source code, submit pull requests on GitHub, update the documentation, submit issues and talk with us on the Forums

Important notes:

The software for this is still in the early stages. The hardware is only for early adopters who understand that your mileage may vary, as far as how well it works. If you want a stable SCSI storage device, I’d recommend SCSI2SD from Inertial Computing

This hardware is being listed here as a service because of my interest in Retro computing. I’m not trying to make any money off this project. I’ve ordered all of the parts for this in bulk so that I can pass the savings on to you.

This produce is separate from the original Japanese version of RaSCSI. Do not contact the original creator (GIMONS) for technical support.

For questions, support or just general camaraderie with other Macintosh RaSCSI users, please visit the Hacks & Development section of the 68k Mac Liberation Army Forums

Setup, installation, configuration and usage instructions are on the RaSCSI wiki

All of the source code, schematics and design files are available on Github

This hardware has NOT been tested with the X68000 hardware.
